About the Author & Artist
Mernette Martin is a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, artist, and author. More importantly she is a mother of two incredibly amazing kids. The three things that bring her the most joy in life are her kids, the act of creating, and making people happy.
Her love for the arts and creating began as a child. As a teenager she wondered, “What is my purpose in life?” Motherhood slowly brought an answer. She realized that her purpose is not just create art or to be a wife, family member, or a friend; her purpose is to encourage, motivate, and bring joy to her family and the entire world. She knows the importance of being a role model for her children and to nourish their physical and emotional well-being. Her goal is to show her children and everyone she meets that all things are possible as long as they are done out of love.
She is a firm believer that we have the power to change the world and make it a happier, more loving place; not just for us, but for the entire universe.
She is a dreamer who realizes that there is nothing that separates a dream from reality. We are all capable of achieving and accomplishing anything we want. Our first step is to realize that everything is achievable. The second step is to believe. Believe and trust conquers any of our doubts and fears. We must move forward because the reward is not at the end of the road, it is the entire journey.
